Deployment Models
Air-gapped, private VPC, on-prem, or hybrid—Oikyo runs where your data already lives.
Four Deployment Models
Oikyo is designed to respect your existing security and compliance boundary. You choose where the platform runs and how it connects to your infrastructure:
- Air-gapped: Fully disconnected environments for classified or highly sensitive workloads.
- Private VPC: Dedicated VPC in your cloud account with network controls and peering to your systems.
- On-prem: Kubernetes or VM-based deployments in your own data center.
- Hybrid: Combine desktop workbenches with centralized governance and deployment in your data plane.
In every model, training data, models, and inference traffic stay inside your environment. Oikyo never requires sending your proprietary data to a managed multi-tenant service.
How It Works
At a high level:
- Control Plane: Authentication, configuration, and team management can be hosted by Oikyo or self-hosted by you.
- Data Plane: Training, evaluation, and inference workloads run in your infrastructure (air-gapped, VPC, or on-prem).
- Git-native Governance: Experiments, configurations, and deployment manifests are versioned in Git for full auditability.
This separation lets you keep sensitive data in your own boundary while still benefiting from a managed experience where it makes sense.
